Growing through Woodlea House.

At Woodlea House, we believe it is of vital importance that your child is provided with a smooth and seamless transition at every growth stage as they move forward through the nursery framework. Each child is unique, so we follow your child’s needs and only take that next step with them when they are ready; we take into consideration age, stage of development and friendship groups. You will be included in every decision through regular conversations and feedback.

Transitions happen gradually; families will be invited to visit their new dedicated age group space and meet their child's new key worker. This will happen through their new key Nursery Practitioner visiting the children in their current setting. Following this, they will have some explorer sessions in their new room where the children can bring their favourite toys/books to help them feel their most comfortable in their new environment. The room move will happen when your child is ready and they are happy in their new setting with their key person. At every stage of their journey through Woodlea House, your child’s needs are put at the forefront of our practice to ensure that they are contented and settled throughout their time with us.
